The year unfolds, a canvas new,

Where colors blend, and skies are blue.

The past, a whisper, softly sighs,

Its lessons learned, with tear-filled eyes.

Forgiveness blooms, a fragile flower,

In hearts grace renews, a healing power.

Walls crumble where stones of pride fade away

Replaced by love, God will lead the way.

In your presence, I find my living hope,

As a new year lies just around the corner, it's a time for reflection, for letting go of the past, and embracing the fresh start that lies ahead. This poem, "Turning the Page," explores the journey of forgiveness, freedom, and finding hope in the midst of life's challenges. It's an invitation to step into the unknown with faith, trusting that even broken fragments can be woven into a beautiful story of grace to be used to help and encourage others.

The imagery in the poem speaks of colors blending on a new canvas, walls of pride crumbling, and chains of yesterday falling away. It's a reminder that through forgiveness, we find healing and release from the burdens that hold us back. With each step, we find our souls renewed, soaring on wings of eagles towards a future filled with purpose and possibility. This New Year, may we all have the courage to turn the page and embrace the new beginnings that await us.
